Landcruiser 80 Longfield 30 Spline CV Axle Super Set - Gun Drilled

The Longfield 80 Series gun drilled 30 spline CVs are made out of 100% chromoly and are precision polished to remove any imperfections that may cause stress risers. The internals of the CV are also made from 4340 chromoly and are dual heat treated for superior strength. The CV has a M8 grease zerk at the end of the stub shaft and is gun drilled through the center to allow grease to pass through and into the internals. This saves precious time by eliminating the need to disassemble the axle just to service the CV.
Axles lengths are approx 865mm and 452mm.
The CVs also have a shallow relief near the splines on the stub shaft known as a 'Machined Spline Saver'. The spline saver eliminates stress concentrations caused by grooving from the tool that makes the splines on the stub shaft. The stress concentration from the spline groove is a common failure point on CV stub shafts.
The stub shaft of the CV has dual snap ring grooves to accommodate both 80 Series drive flange sizes.
The axle shafts are also made out of 4340 chromoly steel.
Included in this kit is a set of new 80 Series ABS Tone Rings. This allows installation into both ABS and Non-ABS 80 Series applications.
These parts are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. All parts used in a competitive racing environment are excluded from this warranty.
